    If purple had a scent, Poison was it. It was beast mode, it was mysterious, seductive, slightly dangerous, intoxicating. My girlfriend wore it which is why it has remained a favourite of mine-conjuring up memories of cool autumn evenings, cold winter nights, glasses of wine by the fire with Christmas just round the corner; a simpler time and way of life.
